This position will support teachers in developing proactive and positive classroom strategies that focus on student mental health needs that affect classroom management and student success. Due to this position being supported by a grant, this position is a two year position.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for leading and partnering with educators to create safe supportive learning environments for all students. The ideal candidate will have successful experience teaching students with social emotional and mental health challenges.
The primary duties of the position include:
- One on one coaching
- Small group training and facilitation
- Collaborating with teams of educators and administrators
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years teaching experience
- Master’s degree

- Exceptional relationship building skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Assisting with classroom and school wide program implementation
