The Community Navigators program

The Community Navigators program is designed to support a student’s individual need through assistance in overcoming hardships, navigating resources and building relationships that empower families and help their student be successful academically and personally.

 

The Community Navigators program currently serves the following districts: Cedar Bluffs, Logan View, Mead, North Bend Central, Scribner-Snyder, Tekamah-Herman, West Point, Wisner-Pilger, and Yutan.

Supports for Students and Families:

• Assistance with applying for DHHS services

• Medicaid

• Energy Assistance

• SNAP

• ADC / Employment First

• Child care

• Connecting with local community programming

• Finding local therapists that accept their insurance

• Housing + utility assistance

• Providing information about legal aid

Resources + Referrals

If you have questions or concerns about families needing support or assistance, please reach out to your local school district.
