Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing

The ESU 2 Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing supports students (birth–21) with hearing loss through direct, indirect, and consultative services. Support includes communication, literacy, self-advocacy, and equipment use, along with collaboration with teams and families. The teacher also contributes to evaluations, goal setting, accommodations, and progress monitoring, while advocating for access and equity.
