Independent Program
through Educational Service Unit 2
ESU2 Independent is a specialized alternative education program dedicated to supporting students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs. Since 2012, we have partnered with ESU2 member districts to provide a structured, supportive environment where students can grow and succeed. We also welcome students from outside the ESU2 partnership area.
Our comprehensive program is designed to build the skills, confidence, and resilience students need to thrive in school and beyond. Through individualized support and targeted instruction, we empower students to make meaningful progress. Our ultimate goal is to successfully transition each student back to their home district when it is determined appropriate by the IEP team.
